3 Days 2 Nights Penang Trip [Part 2]

08/01/10
Woke up and breakfast at Penang famous "Dim Sum" Old Winston just nearby our hotel with Yvonne and KK. After that, Yvonne brought us to buy local food at Houk Lok Siew Trading Co.

The following destination was Kek Lok Si. We went there bai bai, donate and shopping. For sure won't forget to take some nice photos lo... Have a look~

The view of Kek Lok Si and the big "Guan Yin Ma" still under renovate
We took photos based on our 12 Chinese Horoscope ^^

We donate a piece of tile for the roof of new build "Guan Yin Ma"...

Lastly, we ended up this station with the famous Asam Laksa near the entrance of Kek Lok Si. What to do after lunch?! Sure proceed to our next destination which was Penang Butterfly Farm. It reputed the world's first tropical live butterfly sanctuary is just 15 minutes away from the Batu Ferringhi tourist belt.
Did you see the butterflies "yai yai" there in top left pic? Hee... XD
Top mid pic is the man-faced beetle

Last destination of Penang Island for our trip was Batu Ferringhi Beach. We took a bunch of funny photos and video at there. Zadou... =.=

After that, we straight away back to Seberang Perai, Bukit Mertajam, Vincent's relative house. We met my class rep there and he brought us to eat seafood. We were late and scared can't taste the seafood dinner. Fortunately, we were the last customer for the restaurant... 8 dishes cost us RM226, it's reasonable price and NICE. I ate 2 and half rice with fried soft-shell crab, kung pow "he gor", sotong-kia (little squid), vegetable, onion egg, signature prawn, black pepper crab and tom yam stingray... What a full and satisfy dinner!!!

After dinner, we still went to taste the famous duck egg "Char Kuey Teow". Even 12am but still alot of ppl there =.= We just ordered 2 plates--original and spicy because still full with seafood dinner. In my personally view, it taste just normal, nothing special. That night we overnight at Vincent's relative house.

Last day of our Penang trip T_T Sob sob, that's mean we have to separate again... Woke up early in the morning as promised go to market, BUT eyes can't open. So, just gave up and continued sleep.
They bought us curry mee and apam balik from market which were different. The large curry mee with pig blood cost RM2.50, it's damn cheap... although the mee is smaller than what we eat usually. The apam balik special because it size larger and nice to chew.
After breakfast and packed luggage, we took off to Ipoh visit cave and lunch there around 3pm.So bad, we don't know the way to cave and lunch, luckily met Yao's uncle, his worker brought us there to eat Ipoh local food--tauge chicken rice at Onn Kee Restaurant (Tauge Ayam). When we finished lunch, the time almost 5pm and seem like goin to rain... Haiz, so just back to KL.
P/S: The rest photos still haven't get from Ashley... Thanks to Yvonne and KK again, my class rep-- Chun Hean, Vincent's grandaunt and cousin, Yao's uncle and the sis brought us for lunch. Without y'all, this trip won't be so successful... Next trip, Si Panjang suggested Malacca~~
Enjoy the video~~
